DevOps Engineer (Infrastructure Team)

A Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for the smooth operation of a Business Development IT infrastructure both on premises and in cloud. He will work with developers to deploy and manage code changes, and with operations staff to ensure that systems are up and running smoothly. He is solely responsible for smooth IT operation and recovery of all IT objects that are under his control. DevOps Engineer is the main responsible for server and service improvements, incl. monitoring, backups, configuration, transition from one service to another, system administration, etc.

Technologies:

• Linux based infrastructure
• Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V, etc.)
• Databases: SQL and NoSQL
• Web servers: Nginx, Apache, PHP-FPM, Tomcat, etc.
• Containerization and orchestration tools: Docker, Kubernetes
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure
• Monitoring and visualization tools: Grafana, Kibana
  

Responsibilities

• IT Infrastructure management and administration – configuration, backup, monitoring, etc
• Deploy updates, fixes and identify manual processes that can be automated
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Investigate and resolve technical issues
• Develop scripts to automate deploy, monitoring and visualization
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
  

Requirements

• 5 years of relevant experience as DevOps Engineer/System administrator
• Experience with IT infrastructure on premise and in cloud
